Galleria Patricia Armocida presented Sorrir and Chorar, the first solo exhibition in Italy by the Brazilian artist Finok. Sorrir and Chorar shows two sides of the same coin. Smiling isn't just about being happy and crying isn't just about being sad. Human behavior hides duplicity and different meanings, often inconsistent, depending on what we want to express and what we have believed up to that moment. Contradictory and coexisting feelings, opposing emotions that blend in the artist's paintings, sculptures and installations, the expression of a city rich in contrasts like São Paulo.
