The Pitanga project accesses distant regions of the so-called deep Brazil, and explores the connection of some elements, with art being an important tool expressing our emotions and world views, and bringing us closer to the diversity of lifestyle, which shapes our identity and culture. With the intention of creating unique experiences, the project uses art as a means of personal and collective expression and transformation, in this path towards creativity and discovery of new ways of living and expressing oneself. Finok, dialogues with all types of subcultures, local cultures, behaviors and architecture, and through interventions and paintings in non-obvious places, fosters the imagination, promoting dialogue and reflection, providing a form of cultural expression little known in these places, which are generally not in focus. The development of interventions and the creation of murals in these spaces directly honors these places and transforms degradation into significant works of art.
The Pitanga project has an important impact on these more distant territories, inspiring and stimulating the imaginary side of local people and the public as a whole, and is also a form of cultural expression and storytelling, encouraging people to connect with their identity and your memories. The Pitanga project refines this symbiotic relationship between lifestyle and art, and while art transmits emotions, feelings and senses, lifestyle is interconnected with art in a process of mutual influence, resulting and materializing in the way in which we live our lives.
