It presents 100 artists with 150 artworks from 17 contries and 4 continents. It’s the largest urban art exhibition in the world. The Völklinger Hütte Museum, which has been hosting the UrbanArt Biennale® since 2011, will present its fourth major exhibition of works exemplifying the 21st-century art form that emerged from graffiti.
The main exhibition hall will be the 10,000-m2 Burden Hall. In addition, international artists have created site-specific installations especially for the Völklinger Ironworks. UrbanArt Biennale® 2017 will focus on works from South America, but it will also present current trends.
